Maegan Jenkins, Psy.D.

Co-Owner and Therapist

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from Midwestern University in Downers Grove. I specialize in the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Anxiety Disorders using evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP). ERP and CBT are widely recognized as the gold standard treatments for OCD, and when applied collaboratively and skillfully, they help clients reduce avoidance, tolerate uncertainty, and regain control over their lives.

I bring extensive experience and a clear treatment philosophy to my work while recognizing that effective therapy is never one-size-fits-all. I tailor treatment to each individual, balancing structure with flexibility, directness with compassion, and clinical expertise with a grounded, human approach. Anxiety often intensifies in high-stakes and relational environments, particularly when conflict, uncertainty, or loss of control are present. In addition to treating anxiety and OCD, I have specialized training in supporting individuals navigating high-conflict coparenting and the emotional challenges associated with family court. The same evidence-based skills used in CBT and ERP, including emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and values-based decision making, are highly effective in helping clients reduce reactivity and respond more intentionally in these complex situations.

I offer therapy sessions in person, via telehealth, and within the community when appropriate, allowing treatment to address symptoms where they actually occur. My clinical style is collaborative, direct, and goal-oriented, with an emphasis on meaningful, sustainable change rather than quick fixes. Clients often describe my approach as highly skilled, down to earth, and supportive, with room for humor alongside serious therapeutic work.

Outside of the office, I enjoy running, going to the gym, reading books, and watching documentaries. I bring the same curiosity, authenticity, and sense of humor into my clinical work, creating a space where clients feel both challenged and genuinely supported.
